Two families we know had a really cool idea(thanks Last and Kelly families!) and we were so inspired to do what they did...it took us a bit to figure out what size and wall to use...but it all finally came together.
Having 4 children who we hope are as active as they can be we are just getting prepared! Something tells me we are going to need all the organizational tools we can get! :)
First we found the wall...actually took down the stuff we had up there..and kept the folders.
Then my STUD finds the STUDS...
I made Andy take the doorbell down. It was just in the WAY! Who needs a doorbell anyways...we have an OTTO!
We had a LOT of conversation on how HIGH it was going to be. I wanted it HIGH vs. LOW. He wanted it LOW vs. HIGH. If it was LOW the dog/children would have had a lot of fun...thumbtacks and string and corkboard...OH MY!
Guess who won? ME!
So YES it is high up there and YES we will have to use a step stool for the first week...maybe two...but it is UP and WONDERFUL and I LOVE it!
Organization...Gotta LOVE IT!(Thanks BABE!)
