Andy and I had the pleasure of going to Madalyn's Parent/Teacher Conference last night. We are so proud of #1 I just had to share!

Madalyn's Top Ten Kindergarten Style (in no order)

1.)Madalyn loves School-Her teacher said that Madalyn is a so excited about school and learning. (awesome to hear)

2.)Madalyn is excelling in reading and may be in level B right off the bat.

3.)Madalyn's teacher put her with peers that are struggling. Her teacher said that when she breaks the kids up in to small groups she puts Madalyn in to groups because she knows she will HELP the others out! (also wonderful to hear)

4.)Madalyn is a joy-Her teacher said she wishes she had a room full of Madalyns. That her love for school and wonderful personality is truely a joy!

5.)Madalyn is writing sentences. Her teacher shows us a sentence she wrote on Tuesday.
I love my dog Otto he is a boxr". She explained that when they do their Daily News they use " when someone says the news. And that is just what Madalyn did her.

6.)Madalyn is above average with words she knows how to write. We saw a piece of paper of words she wrote. Her teacher predicted that the list would be HUGE by the end of the year.

7.)Madalyn cares deeply for others in her class. In fact she had a "time out" of sorts because she was caring TOO much. LOL Who does that sound like???

8.)Madalyn knows her address and phone number. We saw a drawing Madalyn did of our house. And our address was proudly written on the house! GO GIRL!!

9.)She knows 1-30 by looking at them...kinda...there were a few she didn't know.

10.)Madalyn is an awesome artist. She draws pictures with great detail and spends lots of journal time with the picture.

OK..you can call it bragging but I call it being a PROUD PARENT!! We are so proud!!
