This weekend was jam packed with events and while it makes the weekend go by too quickly, it sure is fun!
Friday night~ Andy and I hung out and let the kids stay up late!
Saturday~ HHS played in Little Chute at a tournament. The kids and I went to the first game to cheer papa on. They lost... There was this amazing hill near the field that kept the kids busy for most of the pre-game and game. This made things a lot easier for me.

BUT...Delaney found a piece of fruit left by one of the kids and when she dropped it there was something STILL on her finger. Any guesses as to what that little thing was that was left??? A BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE...and yep...it stung her right in her already pudgy finger. Poor little baby...so off the the First Aid tent we went for some ice. Delaney thought it was fun to carry the baggie of ice around. And that helped the swelling. Well...I guess now we know that my girls are NOT allergic to bees.
After the game we had lunch with papa. Papa helped pack everyone back in to the van and we were off for the Halloween store. Where I had to FIGHT to exchange Miles' Batman costume that was too small. NOTE to self and others: Take costume out of package and hold it up to the kids because they do NOT except any refunds or exchanges. But..I kindly told them that we come to their store often and that we would not be coming back if this couldn't be resolved. So...a manager was called and then the district manager also. And well...Miles now has a Batman costume that fits him. Picture this though...I have 4 kids in this store by myself. I had to carry the two younger ones in because they had fallen asleep in the van on the way over. When we get in I put Delaney into the little cart and I have Dawson standing next to me. The two older kids go over to some flashing sunglasses to keep themselves busy. There is a zombie type life sized doll...MOANING and SWAYING. This is scaring the CRAP out of Dawson who is now crawling up my life. He was FREAKING out about this thing. I don't blame him...she was creepy. Needless to say I was HAPPY to be on the road heading toward NAPTIME! :)
I got the 3 younger down for a nap and was picking up around the house when Madalyn asks me what she is going to do tonight. And I say, "Nothing". She says, "Awww it's my special day..." I then tell her to call grandma. She does and they talk and when she gets off the phone she says. Grandma says I can come over. I look at her and say "oh ok...how are you getting there?" She then says........"oh...I have to call her back..." LOL Too funny! So Grandma K came to pick her up. We were going to try and sneak her OUT before anyone woke up but Miles woke up just in time to insist on going too. So my parents were blessed with M and M on Saturday night! THANKS MOM AND DAD! Then the rest of the crew woke up and we played outside for a bit...what is up with this weather? Are we going to have FALL. I LOVE FALL...we better have some fall weather soon.
Kim and Jerome were in town and stopped by to pick up ORION (IPOD TOUCH). Jerome was happy and content to get started programming his new toy. Auntie Kim (Delaney's Godmother) brought a Birthday Present for Delaney that kepy her happy and content too! YAY! THANKS KIM! We ordered wings from The Bar and Kim and I were OFF to go pick them up. We left a little beforehand to have a drink while we waited. It was nice to have an adult talk. I did most of the talking...thanks for the ear Kim. Then we came back, ate wings and played Kings In the Corner. We had a few drinks and then Kim remembered she wanted to go through some of our baby clothes. SO while she and I were doing that...with the help of Dawson. The guys got out the guitars and started playing Guitar Hero. We found out that Jerome was meant for FAST songs...he has a mean STRUM! We all had fun playing that for a bit and then K and J headed to Kim's sister's house!
Andy and I stayed up another hour or so to play some more guitar hero and then we were off to bed.
Sunday~Andy and I got up for church and only had 2 little ones to get ready! SIMPLE. We headed for church and dropped the kiddies off at the child care. The African children's choir did 2 or 3 songs. It was amazing...the energy and spark these kids have!
Then we headed to Plamann Park to have some family photos done. My parents came along so we could try and get another photo done that wasn't BY ME! :) It was fun and I think Cari got some really good ones. I can't wait to see them!

THANKS CARI! Here are some I took when we were trying to find the perfect spot! I love the colors!! Mom and Dad took us out for lunch (THANKS)and then we were heading home to give kids naps. Andy and Madalyn went to his mom and dad's to help Sal with a computer problem and I put the kids down for a nap. When Andy returned we had burgers and corn on the cob. Then we headed to Pathways for the BIG African Children's Choir Concert. It was fun to watch my kids enjoy the music. Miles was intrigued at first and then got bored. Dawson and Madalyn loved every moment of it. Madalyn was doing the dance steps and Dawson kept putting his hands in the air like he was praising God. SO CUTE!! Then home for a QUICK snack and BED!
Told ya it was an eventful WEEKEND! :)Hope yours was fun for you too!
