Yes,we were gone again this weekend. It is crazy for us too but we had a great time in Chicago.
We dropped the kids off on Sat. morning and headed down to Chicago. We met at a guy's house from SOI. And met up with a bunch of Cub fans! Let the drinking begin! We hung out at PHAN's house the rest of they day and into the evening. I think I may have drunk and dialed or drunk and txted Kim a few times...oppss! LOL
Then we walked downtown and got an amazing meal from some diner. We met up with Phan and his band at some lil bar. We didn't stay long...it surely was not our type of music and the walk kinda sobered us up...we were tired and ready to sleep! SO...we hiked back to the van. 12 blocks or so...I may be wrong but it was a LONG walk! :)
The next day was the Cubs game. We got up and out of the hotel and headed down to Wrigley. We stopped to get the kids some Cubs gear. I ended up with some stuff too! YAY! We met up with two couples for lunch at Sluggers and then headed inside. It wasn't as loud and crazy as the night before. Everyone was hung over and looked like they needed a bed! LOL It still was fun!!
Then we headed out before the game ended to beat the traffic. We were on our way home to our kids!
