Well we ended up taking our trip to MN. We were planning on staying home Friday and maybe leaving Sat. morning if Madalyn was feeling better. Well after two doses of Amoxicillan Madalyn start to PERK up. We were eating supper and she said...I want to gooooo! SO what did we do? We loaded up 4 kids with blankets galore! YES...Delaney is forward facing...naughty us. It was the only way to get them all in the back so I could be back to help out with them. (shrug)
We stopped to drop Otto off and we were on the road by 6:30PM or so. We left the car inside light on for a while and read books and played with a few toys. Then the light went off around 7:30 and the kids were all sleeping shortly after. Me too! Madalyn's night of no sleep tired me out!! We got to Kim and Jerome's around 11:30ish. Correct me if I am wrong Guys!! The kids of course woke up when we carried them into the house and were to excited to sleep. SO us adults didn't get much time to chat. I slept in bed with Dawson and Madalyn and Papa took Miles to the other bedroom. Kim and Jerome were nice enough to hang out with Delaney who wanted to party it up most of the night. Needless to say this wasn't a restful weekend! LOL
The next morning started with the boys waking up around 6-6:30 like normal. We congrated in the lower level to try not to wake the rest of the house. Soon everyone was awake and playing! Everyone but Princess Madalyn who could sleep through a tornado!! Love you girl!!
There was plenty of just hanging out. And what would a trip away be without Spongebob!! LOL And Miles enjoy of all movies...Gremlins!(Shakes head)
Kim and I went shopping for Storage bins my new toy shelf. We ended up getting some great ones at Storables. This store ROCKS!! We went and priced and measured and went back with the whole CREW to pick up the rest. Stay tuned for pictures of these bins!! The big boys enjoyed this store too! The big boys went to Rockler(sp?) a woodworking store in Burnsville.
Sat. night we had a few drinks and then it was time to put kids to bed. I took on the job and when they were asleep I was READY to party or SLEEP! So we went to bed! LOL
Pork Chop was a ball full of fur and fun!! The kids loved playing with him. He thought it was great to jump on Dawson and knock him over. Dawson took it all in stride. And so did Pork Chop. Dawson gave him the royal treatment with fur pulling and "love" pats to boot! LOL
