This year we stayed home and had The Coleman's join us. We started off with lots of catching up. We fed the kids and had pizza ourselves, along with Taco dip. Thanks Becky for the wonderful taco dip. YUM!
We sat around talking and making sure the kids didn't hurt themselves. Corey and Miles hit it off really well. It isn't often that Miles has a boy buddy to play with. Madalyn had a blast playing with the boys too!Dawson and little Rihanna were busy bodies and didn't stop moving until they crashed!
We set up a bunch of pillows and blankets in the hopes that the kids would watch a movie and fall asleep. Dora and SpongeBob were a hit!
Dawson feel asleep around 10:30PM.(Sad I put him to bed before I got a pic. of him!) Delaney was fussy but fell asleep around 9 or so and slept until 4 AM. Miles and Corey feel asleep about 11AM or so.
Madalyn ended up being the only "kid" to celebrate 2008! Unlike last year when Miles was still awake at 2AM when we left Robinson's! Crazy Kid!!
While the kids watched movies we played Rummy 500. This was a lot of fun but Becky had an advantage because she was SOBER! No Fair!! Anyways...we had a blast! Looks like we may be starting a tradition and staying IN for New Year Celebrations!
When the clock struck midnight Andy was surfing through the channels to find New York...but we kinda missed it. Oh well! I still got a kiss!
We toasted and my HAND was happy to be in a photo. Yep! Imagine that...I am not in any of the photos but at least my hand was! Too funny! We had little confetti poppers that weren't really exciting but it was funny that I missed the moment each time I tried to "catch" the fun! Happy New Year!!!
