Grandma Vi went to heaven early this morning. For those of you who don't know her she is my Dad's mother. Talked to Dad today and he is glad she is in a better place and not in the "home" any longer! She had Alzheimers and didn't know me at all. She was struggling with her children but always was able to piece it all together after a few hints!
I don't remember much about Grandma Vi because she lived up North and we didn't see her much. But I do remember staying with her up North. We played Gin Rummie and talked about the animals in their yard. I will always remember her wonderful apple desserts and her CARMEL CORN!
Sad to say that I no longer have any living grandparents! (sigh) The circle of life!!
